We offer a wide range of services, including tax preparation-planning, estate and trust services, audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping and payroll services, consulting and business valuations. How do you charge for your services?
It is our mission to always provide value to our clients that exceeds the cost of our services. If we can do that, our fees should never be an issue. However, we understand the desire to have a set fee for the pricing of our services, and to the best of our ability we attempt to provide a set fee for the specific services we are asked to provide. The more data we can obtain and the better understanding of exactly what the project requires, the more exact our estimated fee will be. Keep in mind we don’t sell a tangible product; our work comes from the knowledge and time spent on each project. Sometimes it is not until we are able to dig into the data that we are able to fully understand the time and skill level needed to cost effectively get the job done. We strive to have your work done at the lowest, cost effective level to keep your fees as low as possible. We frequently compare our fees and rates to other similar sized firms in the Houston area and we are usually very competitive with them all. We are happy to have a fee conversation with you, and we will provide you with an engagement letter that defines the specifics of the work you want us to do and the expected fees to get the work done.
