John has 50+ years of experience as a certified public accountant. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1964 with a B.S. in accounting, and accepted a job in Houston, TX. with the then “Big 8” accounting firm, Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte). He became a CPA in 1966. He started his own accounting firm in 1972, which later became Turner, Dennis & Noack, P.C. In January 2017, that firm joined Reimer, McGuinness & Associates, P.C.
John has extensive experience working with business clients and their owners, usually providing tax and financial statement services. Many of these clients he has worked with 30+ years. His major clients have been in the manufacturing, construction, wholesale distribution, and professional service areas.
John and his wife, Nina, spend part of each summer and fall at their lake house in the State of Maine. John enjoys vegetable gardening, particularly raising tomatoes in both Texas and Maine. He also enjoys spending time with his six young grandchildren that live close to him in Cypress, TX.
