Max joined Reimer, McGuinness & Associates in 2010. As a Senior Manager, his primary responsibility is to lead the audit and attest practice at the firm. Max's areas of expertise include audit work for non-profits and energy related companies, fraud investigations including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Compliance, and accounting for derivatives.
Prior to Reimer, McGuines & Associates, Max worked as an Audit Manager for Deloitte & Touche LLP. He also worked as the Internal Audit Manager at Pride International and BJ Services (an oilfield services company). Max earned his BA from Washington and Lee Univeristy and his MBA from Lamar University. He is a memer of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs. Max is a proud veteran and served in the United Sates Army for several years.
Outside of the office, Max is a member of St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church. He also enjoys running long distances, including recently completing the Houston Half Marathon. You can often find Max after work running laps at Memorial Park.
